Text Messages from BOH Logic

1. What the program is

BOH Logic (operated by Cleves Ventures LLC) answers phone calls on behalf of home-service businesses in Fairfield County, Connecticut. When you call a line we answer — including our own demo line, (475) 258-8600 — our receptionist takes down your name, the best number to reach you, the address, what's wrong, and how urgent it is. With your permission, we then send one text message to the number you gave, confirming what you told us and when to expect a call back. That is the only kind of message this program sends to callers.

2. How we ask for your permission

Consent is collected verbally, on the call, by our receptionist. This is the script, word for word:

1. Receptionist: "What's the best number to reach you at?"
   You give your phone number.
2. Receptionist: "Is it OK if BOH Logic texts you a one-time confirmation of this at that number? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime to opt out."
   You answer yes or no.
3. Receptionist, closing the call: "Thanks, [your first name]. I've got everything written down and I'm texting you a copy now. Someone will call you back within the hour."

If you say no, we do not text you. The business you called still receives your details and calls you back. Saying yes is never a condition of getting service.

Your answer is recorded two ways: calls are recorded by our voice platform, and your yes or no is stored with the record of your call.

3. What the message looks like

One text, sent within a minute of the call ending. For example:

BOH Logic — got your call. Water heater leaking at 12 Main St, Norwalk. We'll call you back within the hour at (203) 555-0148. Reply STOP to opt out.

4. Disclosures

• Message type: a transactional confirmation of a call you placed. No marketing, no promotions.
• Message frequency: one message per call you place. Messages are not recurring.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final text confirming you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text that number again.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or email info@bohlogic.com.
• Your number is not shared. No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS consent will be shared with, sold to, or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Messages to business owners

The business whose line we answer also receives one text per call, with the caller's details, so the owner can call back. Business owners consent to these messages in writing when they sign up for the service, and can stop them the same way — reply STOP — or by contacting us.
